Hardyal Dhindsa: 'A Police and Crime Commissioners perspective of Covid-19' at our Annual Conference

As Derbyshire’s elected Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) since 2016, Hardyal Dhindsa is also the national lead for substance misuse at the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners. We are pleased to welcome him to this years conference where he will be talking about his perspective on Covid-19 as an opportunity to recover.

PCCs play a key role in policing and criminal justice and their mandates have extended to include developing key partnerships with a range of agencies including local government, health and the voluntary sector to reduce crime and protect the vulnerable.

Hardyal has over 30 years’ experience in the Criminal Justice sector; most recently working in a strategic management role for the Probation Service.

We are very pleased to have him join us this year. For more information regarding this year’s conference and to see the full line of speakers visit our 2020 conference page.
