anti stigma network

An Anti Stigma Network is being created by a group of people coming to together who share a commitment to ending stigma. The approach of the Anti Stigma Network will be one of collaboration and co-production recognising that many organisations and individuals are doing and have done a lot of work to
address stigma.

If we are to end the stigmatisation of people in addiction we all have a part to play - providers of treatment, individuals in society, as well as health and social care sectors, government agencies, policymakers and broader public and private sector organisations.

We are at the very start of the process – we will formally launch the Anti Stigma Network early 2023 and will be asking for people to become a member of the network. If you want to learn more about the network, get involved or just show us your support before the launch please register your details below:

stigma site

new #stigmakills website

Following the launch of our #StigmaKills campaign earlier this year we are pleased to announce the launch of our new website dedicated entirely to our anti-stigma campaign.

On this site, we hope to share useful resources from NHS APA members and #StigmaKills allies, as well as case stories from those with lived experience of stigma and practical ways that we can tackle the stigma against addiction.

We encourage you to browse the website and stay up to date with the work that we are doing to end stigma against people who experience addiction.
